Zebra-mobile

This classic car was seen on our way to the beach. Yes, there are zebra figurines attatched to the hood of the car.

Check out the beak on that thing! The bird's not Travis'.

What lies beneath

The pier we were walking had stairways leading down to these platforms underneath it. There was nothing standing in the way between them and me.

Close encounter

We all wanted to get our pictures with these guys, but after Travis they started attacking!

He was sunbathing on the beach for everyone to look at. Although, we think he might have been hurt.

I'm not quite sure what my brother was doing up there.

Ride home

A little too bored on the ride home with an endless jar of Jellybeans.

Carter Mountain

Our annual trip to Carter Mountain where we are supposed to pick out a pumpkin for Halloween, but picked apples instead. It was my year to carve the pumpkin and I just didn't feel like it. I know bahumbug. Posted by Picasa
Trying to find a tree with some decent apples on it. Posted by Picasa

Watering Hole

Isn't this place so pretty! You have to hike about 1/2 hour to get to it. And we were the only group there! Posted by Picasa

Happy Halloween!

This was Travis' year to carve it. Pretty good, huh? Anyone could do that with the kit my Mom sent us, but I'll still give him credit even though last year mine was done all by hand. Posted by Picasa

The Move

We were living in Provo Utah, enjoying married life, when Travis got the bright idea to go to Law School at UVA in Charlottesville Virginia. So we packed up and left all our friends and my family (Kathryn's family) behind for the East Coast. Well, it was a little more thought out than that, but here we are now in Virginia. Travis' family is two hours away, he's attending a top 10 law school, I'm working for a great dentist, we are friends with other fellow law student couples and the only thing I have to complain about is the WEATHER!!!! It's way too humid. Luckily we will only be here for 3 years-I hope! Anyway, here is our lovely (small) apartment.
