We made our way to a pumpkin patch to take Beau's yearly fall pics. I had my mother-in-law and sis-in-law meet us there to help me out. Beau was refusing to look at the camera and played deaf most of the time. I'm sure we looked pretty funny with three people yelling 'Beau', making funny noises and gestures to get his attention.
When we got there he ran right up to the biggest pumpkin and tried lifting it. It was pretty funny. He kept trying and trying, but that darn pumpkin just wouldn't budge!
"Uh Mom, why won't this pumpkin move"?
So we moved on to some smaller pumpkins and again, he tried right away to lift another pumpkin.
These next pictures are good examples of him trying his hardest to avoid looking at the camera.
As Beau was pulling a wagon he heard a truck coming down the road. Trucks, tractors, and buses are a few of his favorite things. He knows they sound different than cars. He turned just in time to see a big semi-truck passing by pulling a tractor. He was pretty happy about spotting that!
Back to pulling!
And here is the pumpkin he picked. It wasn't the cutest, but since he dropped it on the ground quite a few times, I didn't think we could put back this battered pumpkin. Again, a perfect example of him avoiding the camera!
