Catch Up: CA, Sept 2010

Back in September Beau and I took a trip to California to see my family.  The plane rides weren't as bad as I was preparing for.  It definitely is hard to do all the security checks and bathroom breaks by yourself though.  Luckily Beau makes friends quick and he had the stewardesses volunteering to hold him while I could go to the bathroom, arms free.  There was Coke spilled at one point and he didn't sleep as long as I was hoping for, but we got through it.  He also made friends with the people sitting behind us and played peek-a-boo with them for about an hour! 

I was also stressing out about how to handle Beau's sleeping schedule since it's a 3 hour difference.  Solution-we didn't change a thing!  There was no adjusting once we got there and there was no readjusting once we flew back.  I think it was the best decision!  He would go to bed around 4 in the afternoon and wake up around 5 in the morning, but I didn't mind.  It kept us home and out of the malls ;) 

We took a trip to S.F. to see my brother, got new phones/plan, ate at all my fav places and had a family potluck.  It was a great trip!  

The first day that we gave Beau a bath, he freaked out and wanted to get out as fast as possible.  At home he uses a little infant/toddler bath tub that sits in the normal bath tub.  So while my parents went out to pick up some things they brought back this blow-up, duck bath tub.  He LOVED it to say the least!  And if you squeezed the beak it would quack!

His favorite thing to do was just lounge.
