We Made it to Virginia

I guess I should explain why we have moved to Virginia.  Travis is still with the same firm that he was working with in Palo Alto and he is still doing the same type of work-Trusts & Estates.  They needed help in their DC office and he volunteered.  The move happened a lot quicker than we were expecting and I didn't get the amount of time to say all of my goodbyes or do the things I wanted to before we left. We took a redeye flight March 30th to Virginia and have been working non-stop.
We bought a house that needed a lot of work.  We hired a contractor to do all the dirty work and we've been keeping busy painting what feels like every square inch of the place.

I'm hesitant to show these pictures without having the after pictures, but I guess I'll show you anyway.  I'll have to do another post of the progress.  It is 4 bedrooms and 3 1/2 bathrooms.  Three floors.  Lots of stairs.  I'm quickly becoming not a fan of stairs.  You can click on the pictures and make them bigger.
Dining room and living room.  Yes, that big tv came with the house.
Opposite view of the dining room.
Opposite view of the living room/dining room.  We added columns and a railing to seperate the two rooms.
Kitchen.
Another view of the kitchen.
Main floor 1/2 bath.
Basement/family room.  Yes, that pool table came with the house.  We are trying to sell it.
Opposite view of the basement.
Master bedroom.
Master bathroom.  Not a fan of carpet in the bathroom.  We changed that.
Beau's room.

We are calling this room the office.

Wowza! Looks like you've got your work cut out for you... that's a big place! I was pretty glad that our place just needed 4 rooms to be painted and that was it. Can't wait to see the actual place when we come out. Where is it exactly?
