I've got a lot to catch up on! But our last vacation is fastly approaching and with it comes planning a meal/dessert, an activity for the whole fam, a slideshow presentation of our year's pictures and reading a 485 book that I may have just started. I did say vacation, right? It's a lot of work, but a lot of fun too!
Ok, to more important things, like how is Beau doing...
He is a year and half already!! I feel like I woke up one morning and he had turned into a little boy with hair! He's 34 inches tall (94.25%) and 27 lbs (65%). He actually did great at the doctor's office. Last time we went he was deathly afraid of everyone and this time he acted like everyone's best friend. He barely cried for the shots and we have a nice break until he needs his future ones.
Beau is the best big, little helper. He always hands the receipt to the man at Costco, which in turn, the man always draws a happy face on the back for him. When we get home he tries to help me put away the groceries. He always tries to lift things that are too heavy for him, so I have to help him. He likes to mop. He likes to stand on a chair and watch/help me make things and turn light switched on and off.
Beau is also a tip-toe walker. That boy has calves of steel!
He talks up a storm! He can say- it's a ball, car, dog, cat, school bus, truck, all done, hi, uh oh, what's that, and eyes. I feel like he can say more things, but I think he's just a good imitator and is just copying me. He doesn't really know what he is saying. He also has a funny habit of saying 'ah tu' whenever he throws something, which happens quite frequently.
He also knows a lot of animal sounds! He also demonstrated how well he knew them at church the other day. As loud as he could. A cow and a sheep.
This kid is getting so big! I love him and can't wait to see how he will continue to grow.
