Baby Shower

I had the great opportunity to throw one of my friends a baby shower.  I'm always up for a party.  She's having a girl and it's her 2nd baby so we wanted something cute and simple!  Milk and cookie parties are all over the web and since the very first time I saw one I've wanted to throw one.  Luckily, Jessica was game and I got started right away.

As much as Evite is convienent and cheaper (free), I love making and sending out an actual invitation.  Am I ol' school?  I created these invites on photoshop elements, printed them on ivory, textured cardstock and tied them with hemp.

Travis, Beau and I picked up all those sticks around our neighborhood for the centerpiece.  I loved how it turned out and is now a permanent fixture on our table.

I personally think you can't have cookies (or any dessert for that matter) without milk so there was regular, chocolate and strawberry.  I love that the milk went with our color theme-an added bonus!

Now for the cookies.  I took this after the party so there was only one left!

Not pictured were crazy craisin cookies which went pretty fast.

I know Jessica is going to hate me for putting this picture up, but we didn't take a picture together at the party and this is the only picture I have of us.  It was spa night for our church's Young Women's program.

I can't wait to meet your sweet baby girl in April!
